When participating this afternoon in the event “Brasil de Ideias Mulher – Especial Eleição”, organized by Grupo Voto, the pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic for the Liberal Party (PL), Flávio Bolsonaro, said that he has until August 14th to announce the candidate for vice-president on his ticket, but signaled to the women, the majority of the audience, that his vice-president will be a woman.
“The deadline is August 14. What I can say is that the profile is of someone who complements our ticket, a prepared and interested person, a woman”, said the pre-candidate.
Flávio began his speech by defending his father, once again pointing out to women, that former president Jair Bolsonaro was never against women, that everything was an unfair narrative.
But, in the question and answer session, when confronted by an event participant that if the Bolsonaro government did anything in favor of women, it did not know how to communicate.
According to the interlocutor, communication has never been a virtue of Jair Bolsonaro’s government. The senator agreed and added that his father’s government did not know how to communicate not only with women, but in general.
“My father is from another generation, he is more rustic”, said Flávio adding that he is from another generation, that he has two daughters, that he would do what is necessary to protect them and that he is open to communication in general, that he likes to talk to journalists.
