Russian attacks in the Kharkiv region left four dead and at least ten wounded

Eastern Ukraine’s Kharkiv region faced another wave of devastating Russian attacks that hit the cities of Chuhuyiv and Kharkiv. Governor Oleh Syniehubov and Mayor Ihor Terechov confirmed four dead and over ten injured residents after rockets hit civilian infrastructure and residential buildings.

Russian attacks in eastern Ukraine’s Kharkiv region claimed the lives of four people and injured at least ten others, local authorities announced early Tuesday morning. TASR informs about it according to the report of the AFP agency.

Four dead, ten injured and damaged cars and residential buildings

“The enemy hit the city of Chuhuyiv,” Kharkiv Oblast Governor Oleh Syniehubov wrote on Telegram, adding that four people were killed, including a 22-year-old woman. “The attacks caused fires and damaged at least 18 vehicles, windows were broken and facades of multi-storey residential buildings were damaged,” he added. The mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terechov, reported that Russian attacks left at least ten more injured in his city.

According to UN estimates released in April, at least 15,850 civilians have been killed in Ukrainian-controlled territories and more than 2,800 in Russian-controlled territories of Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion. In total, more than 44,800 people were allegedly injured.
