The humorist and presenter of the Joking show Sedem, Elena Vacvalová, recently participated in the christening of a pork schnitzel invented by the well-known producer Štefan Wimmer. Although she is used to good satire, even the culinary topic does not surprise her. We were interested in what good things Eňa likes to serve under her husband’s nose. “I cook for him, which will probably sound surprising, but I cook him fresh food every day and hot food for lunch. I’m proud of that.” she admitted for Vacvalová, who is going through changes in her kitchen.
“I’m learning to cook in smaller quantities so that I don’t have to reheat the next day. Believe me, it’s a great art, but along the way I’ll learn many other dishes and new recipes, because I want every day to have something different. To have a fish, to have a vegetable day, to have a brisket, it has to be,” named the entertainer, who found herself in the daily spell with Varaška. “I like to cook. For dogs, for cats, and even for myself,” added the presenter, whom we pointed out to the fact that a similar theory is being coined by the actress Zdena Studenková. It is known far and wide for its dishes made from high-quality and fresh ingredients.
Recently, the artist admitted that she prefers to bring her food in boxes even for filming, as if she had to order a dish with an unknown background. She also practices the so-called box culture with her partner Braň Kostek, who does not allow her hobbies even outside the house. Is this also the case with the Vacval family, and is Eň preparing a husband with bowls filled with homemade food like Zdenka Braňa? “No, I didn’t sink that deep. Greetings, Zdeni… I’m joking, of course,” Vacvalová did not deny her sense of humor. “No, I don’t do this. As long as he goes somewhere, or we go together, but also he alone, when he goes somewhere, we like to go and discover good restaurants, cottages, where good cooking is done.” added the humorist, saying that they always try to surprise their taste buds with something new.
“We have a Falstaff magazine that goes around Slovakia, that is, the magazine doesn’t go around, and they discover really unknown things there, to the point where I’m sometimes extremely pleasantly surprised and proud of how good, high-quality and aesthetically, if we can call it that, cooking is done in Slovakia. So when we’re going somewhere, or he’s going, he looks at the map and looks for the Falstaff road to see if there’s anything like that in the vicinity and goes to eat in the vineyards, maybe privately with a winemaker. And then he comes and tells me that it was great there, we’ll go there together,” she added for Vacvalová.
