The South Korean team secured victory at the Guadalajara Stadium with goals from Hwang Inbeom (67′) and Oh Hyeongyu (80′) after captain Ladislav Krejci opened the scoring for the Czechs (59′).
With this triumph, the Asian team joins Mexico at the top of Group A, both with 3 points, after ‘El Tri”s 2-0 victory over South Africa in the opening match, played at the Azteca Stadium, in Mexico City.
