In audit, GDF identifies 7 thousand underused properties – 06/13/2026 – Panel

After committing to promote fiscal adjustment measures to obtain approval that seeks to save the (Banco de Brasília), the Government of the Federal District commissioned an audit and received data showing that the management has more than 7,000 underutilized properties.

The idea is to identify these spaces and understand how the government can obtain financial gain from them.

The audit was contracted at the behest of Governor Celina Leão (PP), who has promoted a series of cuts to reduce government accounts.

Celina has already reduced GDF contract values ​​by 25% and ordered the occupation of the Federal District Administrative Center, opened 12 years ago but never effectively used. Servers from six departments are already in the space.

The DF also made a commitment, such as prohibiting new competitions and granting raises to public servants.
