Vratko Rohoň from Iné Kafe told politicians: I will not be the naive one! Everyone is snarky with me

Leader of the popular band Iné Kafe Vratko Rohoň he does not put a napkin in front of his mouth. In his latest statement on the podcast harshly criticized the political scene, corruption and the functioning of the system since the Gentle Revolution. According to the musician, politicians are not divided into good and bad, but only into those who are already stealing and those who are just waiting for this opportunity.

The well-known musician is convinced that the fight on the political scene is not a real fight between good and evil, but only a rivalry between two similar camps. He left no stone unturned in his assessment of Slovak and foreign politics.

“For me, those politicians are chr*ponies, everyone. Whether it is one or the other,Rohoň stated openly, adding that those who pretend to be the saviors of society just have different colors. “If there are any chr*the ponies, against whom we are fighting, are fighting against them exactly the same chr*puny,” stated.

The frontman of a well-known band rejects the idea that a change of government uniforms would bring fundamental change for the better. Considering his age and experience, according to his own words, he looks at politics strictly realistically.

“I’m 52 years old and I’m not going to be that naive now that I’m going to look at how we’re going to take these bad guys out and put these good guys in. But the good guys are just waiting to get in there so they can steal.” the singer explains his point of view by saying that, in his opinion, the democratic system itself allows politicians to do similar “deals”.

He recalled that no government in modern history has avoided scandals. He perceives the problem with corruption as systemic and long-term. “We’ve been following this since the Gentle Revolution, when it changed to a democratic system. Any government that was, whether it was here, in Bohemia or somewhere else – always corruption, always corruption, always corruption.” evaluated the historical development.

He also mentioned past governments as an example. “I didn’t register a single four-year period of any government, Dzurinda or anyone, that everything was fine. No, there were always just some scumbags.” he thinks.

Rohoň also has a clear opinion on the constant mutual accusation of politicians for criminal activity, which, according to him, only unnecessarily burdens the citizens. Instead of political arguments, he demands specific steps and evidence from the competent authorities.

“If someone steals, let them prove it to them and let them put them to shame. And if they don’t have evidence, then let them be silent. Let them not traumatize society by whether he steals or not.” refers to politicians and law enforcement agencies. “If he steals, then let them put him in jail, if he doesn’t steal, let him go,” he concluded.
