On Monday, June 15, firefighters were supposed to fish out the body of a dead woman at the Sĺňava water reservoir near Piešťany. The spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service in Trnava, Lena Košťálová, confirmed the information for the website.
“I can confirm the intervention at the Slňava water reservoir. Firefighters were on the scene around 8:00 am. In this case, firefighters from the fire station in Piešťany intervened on the spot. It was about technical assistance, while there were five firefighters in the field,” she said.
