The video of body camera of military police officer who shot and killed a man in the Jaraguá neighborhood, north of São Paulo, recorded the agent’s statements at the time of the action.
The images obtained by CNN Brazil show the moment when the PM announces that he is going to shoot the man. “I’m going to kill him. I’m going to shoot him”, says the soldier.

Understand the occurrence
A São Paulo Military Police investigates the conduct of the agent who shot and killed a man in the neighborhood of Jaraguanorth of the capital, on April 28 this year.
The intervention began after a motorcyclist reported having been threatened by a driver carrying a knife. Upon locating the individual, the police officer fired shots.
The case is investigated in Department of Homicide and Personal Protection (DHPP) of the Civil Police. By court order, the police officers involved were removed from their duties while the inquiry is conducted.
In a note, the Public Security Secretariat (SSP) and the PM informed that the images are being analyzed and that the institution does not condone excesses or misconduct, reiterating its commitment to legality and the protection of the population.
