Graduated journalists or professionals who can demonstrate that they have been working in the field for at least two years can participate. Candidates must submit an agenda proposal, a research plan and a letter of approval from a journalistic outlet interested in publishing the work.
Each journalist can submit up to two stories, as long as they cover different topics.
Those selected will receive a grant of R$10,000 for the production of the report or series of reports, in addition to the possibility of requesting up to R$2,000 additional for investigation expenses, such as travel or hiring professionals.
