Zlatica Švajdová Puškárová is one of the most prominent and popular faces of the Slovak journalistic scene. The public knows her mainly from the screens of TV Markíza, where she entered the audience’s consciousness as a presenter of Televízny Novín. She was also the uncompromising face of the political show Na telo, where she regularly confessed to leading politicians.
In June 2024, Puškárová announced a fundamental change in her career. After a break of more than six months due to health problems, she returned to television screens with her own show, which is part of Televízny Novín.
Zlatica hosts a reporting series called “Golden talents with Zlatica”, in which she travels throughout Slovakia and in an unconventional way, it presents the audience with talented people who deserve media attention.
In her show Zlaté talents with Zlatica, the well-known presenter welcomed the world-renowned dancer Laura Arcolinová and her husband Massimo, with whom she also forms a dance couple. Laura talked about her dancing beginnings. “My mother brought me to it. Her dream was to sew a dance dress for her daughter,” she mentioned.
The professional dancer also revealed the details of her wedding to an Italian handsome man. “We first got married at the office in Hong Kong, and a year later we had a wedding in Slovakia, because Italians only have Italian weddings until midnight. And I said that I will not allow that.” she said with a laugh, and Puškárová added that in the end her wedding lasted three days.
In addition to journalistic talent, Zlatica also has language skills, she speaks Italian and English fluently. She also showed it during the interview. “What is Laura like in private and on the floor?” Massima asked in Italian. “The best,” the dancer responded.
