Cultural participation with and without a migration background is about the same

Vienna – A new study shows that the cultural participation of people with a migrant background in Austria, at 85 percent, hardly differs from that of the general population. This also applies to the pride in Austria’s art and culture. “An exception here is the second generation of immigrants born in Austria, who report more pride in Austria’s art and culture than the resident population as a whole,” says the final report.
