Document in the DOU designates 3 officers as the Presidential Security Secretariat, but only 1 is correctly identified
An ordinance from the GSI (Institutional Security Office) designated military officers identified as “So-and-So” and “Cicrano de Tal” to the role of assistant in the Presidential Security Secretariat. The document was published in this Monday’s edition (June 22, 2026) of the Official Gazette of the Union. Here is it (PDF – 16.6 MB).
The concierge includes 3 military personnel. In addition to the 2 identified with generic names, the text designates the 1st Sergeant of the Navy, Márcio Adriano de Jesus Leite, for the same position. The 3 now receive the Representation Bonus of the Presidency of the Republic, code Level 4, and are exempt from the bonuses they previously received.
The document is Ordinance No. 172, of June 19, 2026. It was signed by Vinícius Damasceno do Nascimento, director of the Management Department of the agency’s Executive Secretariat. In a note sent to Poder360the GSI informed that the correction of the publication will be made in the next edition of the Official Gazette of the Union.
“The following military personnel are hereby designated to perform the role of ASSISTANT in the Presidential Security Secretariat of the Institutional Security Office of the Presidency of the Republic, now occupying the Representation Bonus of the Presidency of the Republic code Level IV and being exempt from those they currently occupy;
“1st SG MB MÁRCIO ADRIANO DE JESUS LEITE;
“Maj EB FULANO DE TAL; e
“1st Lt. PMDF CICRANO DE TAL”, the document states.
O Poder360 contacted, via email, the Communication Secretariat of the Presidency of the Republic for clarification on the ordinance. There was no response until the publication of this report. The text will be updated if a statement is sent to this digital newspaper.
