Linzerin attacked by shark near Galapagos Islands


Linz/San Cristóbal – A woman from Linz is believed to have been attacked and seriously injured by a shark during a snorkeling holiday on the Galapagos Islands. The 30-year-old had to have his lower leg amputated in Ecuador, they reported Upper Austrian News (OÖN) on Wednesday. The woman is said to be already on her way home. She and her husband wanted to observe and film sea lions and turtles on a guided snorkeling tour.
