The Algarve 2030 Regional Program reminds you that the deadline for submitting applications for the 2nd edition of the European Funds Award, an initiative promoted by the Agency for Development and Cohesion, IP, within the scope of the Portugal 2030 Communication Network is July 17th.
The award aims to distinguish projects financed by European Funds with a relevant impact on the social, economic and environmental development of territories. According to CCDR Algarve, the initiative once again values examples of good practice in the application of European funds, highlighting innovative, sustainable, inclusive and transformative projects.
Six categories distinguish projects supported by European funds
Beneficiaries of projects supported by European Funds can apply in the Portugal + Smart categories, dedicated to research, innovation, digitalization and competitiveness of companies; Portugal + Verde, focused on climate transition, energy efficiency, circular economy and protection of natural resources; and Portugal + Conectado, aimed at mobility, accessibility and territorial competitiveness initiatives.
The award also includes the Portugal + Social categories, for projects in the areas of inclusion, employment, health and education; Portugal + Next to Citizens, dedicated to local development and territorial cohesion; and Portugal + European Territorial Cooperation, for projects developed in partnership with entities from other Member States.
Algarve 2030 challenges all its beneficiaries to take advantage of this opportunity to give visibility to their projects and the “positive impact that European Funds have been generating in the region”.
