“This is usually the last stage of a sequence of violence that, many times, had already been committed against women. If there is no complaint, we have no way of knowing that there is a problem there”, says delegate Cristiane Braga, coordinator of the State’s Women’s Defense Police Stations (DDMs),
“No case of feminicide is acceptable. Therefore, we have invested in preventive actions, in strengthening service channels and in the ongoing training of police officers to welcome and protect victims”, says the general commander of the Military Police, Colonel Glauce Cavalli.
