Russia is reporting one of the biggest waves of drone attacks since the invasion began. He claims that his air defense has neutralized hundreds of Ukrainian drones.
On Tuesday night, Russian air defense systems shot down dozens of Ukrainian drones that were heading towards Moscow, announced the mayor of the metropolis, Sergei Sobyanin. In the meantime, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of a total of 419 Ukrainian drones. TASR informs about it according to the report of the AFP agency.

Ukrainian drones eliminated
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense systems intercepted and neutralized 419 Ukrainian drones throughout the country during the night. The department did not mention any casualties or damages.
In his post on the social network, Sobianin said that air defense shot down 50 “enemy drones” flying towards Moscow. According to him, the rescue services intervened in the places where the wreckage of the destroyed machines fell.
Increased number of attacks
Between Thursday and Friday, Russia intercepted 660 Ukrainian drones, according to AFP, one of the highest numbers since the beginning of the invasion.
