Wireless Logic, the British IoT (Internet of Things), announced the acquisition of Brazilian Arqia, a virtual mobile network operator (MVNO). With this transaction, whose value was not disclosed, the company expands its operations to Brazil and Latin America.
MVNO works with the model asset lightthat is, it uses the infrastructure of other mobile operators to offer their services. With the license of Arqia, Wireless Logic will be able to offer mobile and IoT connectivity services in Brazil.
Arqia, which is headquartered in São Paulo, is a company that has been in the market for almost 15 years and was founded as a Datora group mobile services. The Fuchs family business was one of the first to offer Voice Voice Services (VOIP) in Latin America. With global presence, the group also operates in international markets, with offices in the United States, Guatemala, Argentina, Colombia, France and Israel.
According to the statement announcing the transaction, Arqia has one of 15 MVNO authorized by Anatel (National Telecommunications Agency). Although it was fully acquired by Wireless Logic, the company will continue to be run by Tomas Fuchs, CEO of the company, and member of the founding family of the Datora group.

Wireless Logic has been expanding its global performance with a series of acquisitions. In 2022, he bought the French Iothink Solutions. The following year, he acquired Israeli Webbing and Blue Wireless, based on Singapore.
Today, the company has 14 million IoT devices connected in 165 countries and partnerships with more than 50 mobile networks. Wireless Logic controlled by Private Equity Montagu since 2018, when it was purchased from CVC Capital Partners.
