Tunis – In Tunisia, a court sentenced opposition politicians, business people and lawyers to custody for many years. The prison terms ranged from 13 to 66 years, the state news agency TAP reported on Saturday, citing a judicial representative. Details of the judgments were not given. 40 people, including high -ranking politicians, business people and journalists, were charged. More than 20 of them fled abroad.
