This Thursday (8/5), Atletico Nacional-COL and Internacional face the 4th round of Libertadores. The match happens with the command of the Colombians, at the Atanasio Girardot Stadium. Under the member of the Colombian authorities, the international fans who moved to Medellin will have to leave the stadium 80 minutes of the game (35 of the second half).
The decision is due to a precaution as a result of an attempt to ambush the “Los Piratas” fans, an organized Colombian club, to the colorado fans at a meeting point for Brazilians. The International mentioned that about 50 hooded individuals tried to steal from the fans.

In a statement, Colombia’s security force justified the request for fans to leave the stadium before the final whistle:
“We inform that, by guidance from the Colombian security force, Internacional fans will be removed from the stadium in the 80th minute of the match. The measure was adopted as a precaution to the threat of actions of the“ Los Piratas ”group. At the meeting point of the Colorada fans, about 50 hooded individuals tried to steal Inter fans.
The action aims to preserve the safety of all. ”
In the first round match, in Beira Rio, an episode involving two organized fans of Atletico Nacional faced each other after the match in the Cidade Baixa neighborhood. The fight between the groups resulted in the death of two individuals.
