20 years ago, fancy tax nozzles from Voyager 1 brought to life


In 2004, a team from the US space agency NASA had a difficult decision. One of the two aged Voyager probes had a malfunction in one sentence of important control nozzles. Voyager 1 approached the interstellar space at a speed of more than 15 kilometers per second, which no man had previously reached. The mission to send measurement data to earth for the first time seemed at risk.
