After a little more than a year, Ben Glassberg leaves his post as music director of the Vienna Volksoper. He had followed Omer Meir Wellber, who had given up the position in Vienna prematurely due to other commitments. On Tuesday, the house announced the mutual separation, director Lotte de Beer, Glassberg wishes “all the best” for his future.
