US President Donald Trump asked the Canadians to withdraw the tax at the G7 meeting in Canada
The United States will restart commercial negotiations with Canada immediately after their neighbor to eliminate their digital service tax on US technology companies, White House Economic Advisor Kevin Hassett said on Monday.
“For sure,” Hassett told Fox News when asked about the restart of negotiations.
US President Donald Trump asked the Canadians to withdraw the tax at the G7 meeting in Canada, he said. “It’s something they have studied, now agreed, and surely that means we can go back to negotiations.”
