Videos show the moment the young man falls and soon after trampling on his head by the animal. He gets motionless on the floor as other pawns try to calm the bull and push him away from Thaysson.
According to information from the Mato Grosso Civil Police, even with all the necessary protective equipment, the competitor suffered serious injuries after falling and being animal.
The young man was attended by the medical team present at Rodeio and taken to the Emergency Room of the Municipality, but could not resist the injuries and died at the scene. The case was registered as an accident at work by the Civil Police.
In a note on social networks, Arena Dream Team regretted the loss of the young competitor. “Dream Team lost more than a competitor, lost a friend, an arena brother. May he rest in peace in the Lord’s arms, and may God comfort the hearts of all family, friends and roadmates,” wrote the team.
The City Hall of Nova Ubiratã also manifested itself. “It is with great regret that the city informs the death of José Thaysson, rodeo competitor. At this time of pain, we express the most sincere condolences to family, friends and companions for the loss,” said the municipal administration.
