Vienna – The Vienna stock market was once again firmer in early trading on Thursday after the previous day’s significant gains and was thus on course for a record. The ATX leading index passed the 6,000 point mark for the first time and gained 0.55 percent to 6,000.45 units shortly before ten o’clock. By midweek it had already jumped by almost three percent. Since the start of the year, it has now shown a strong performance of more than twelve percent.
