Two men linked to the (Homeless Workers Movement) and Frente Povo Sem Medo were denounced, after, on Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima, the financial center of the capital, in July 2025.
According to the complaint, Felipe Eduardo Narciso Vono and Ramon Arnus Koelli led hundreds of MTST militants in the invasion, “under the pretext of carrying out a political act in defense of the taxation of the super-rich by the National Congress.”
The movement is politically linked to the minister of the General Secretariat of the Presidency, Guilherme Boulos, who was its national coordinator for years.
The demonstration took place during working hours, says the Public Prosecutor’s Office, with the aim of preventing or embarrassing the normal course of work of the banking institution.
“[Felipe e Ramon] They spent about an hour in the bank’s hall shouting slogans, such as: ‘the people won’t pay the bill’, ‘taxation of the super-rich now’, ‘no more mamata’, ‘tax justice’, among others”, wrote prosecutor Cássio Conserino in the 16-page complaint.
Vono, who presented himself as a spokesperson for the movement, was identified by the Public Ministry as a parliamentary advisor to state deputy Ediane Maria (PSOL-SP).

The Panel was unable to contact Koelli’s defense.
In the complaint, the prosecutor requests compensation for damages, removal of banking secrecy and judicial authorization to obtain a list of telephone calls received and made by Vono and Koelle to find out if there were others involved in the invasion.
During the protest, protesters entered the lobby of the Itaú BBA building by surprise with posters and flags calling for the taxation of billionaires.
