North Korean leader witnessed an artillery shooting exercise
The North Korean leader asked the country’s soldiers to prepare “for a serious war,” during an artillery shooting exercise, he said the North Korean official press.
Photos released by KCNA news agency show Kim Jong-un, dressed in a black fact, heading to uniform soldiers. Other images show Kim to carefully observe an artillery shooting exercise alongside several North Korean military leaders.
The shooting session took place on Wednesday, in an unveiled place. Images released by the agency also showed projectiles to be fired towards the sea.
During the visit, Kim spoke to the North Korean soldiers, whom they asked to prepare “for a serious war” and to be able to “destroy the enemy in all battles”, according to KCNA.
This visit happens after a North Korean contingent participated in combat against the Ukrainian forces in the Russian region of Kursk, partially occupied by Kiev troops since the summer of 2024 and that Russia announced that it had fully resumed in late April.
