The governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu low (New), said on Thursday (25), in an interview with CNNwhich has “Very in common” with the former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) and defended the idea of an amnesty to those involved in the acts of January 8.
The statement occurs within a few weeks of the event in which the New Party should officially launch Zema’s pre-candidacy for the Presidency of the Republic. The act is scheduled for August 16 in São Paulo.
“Well, I’m right. I think we have a lot in common. I think Bolsonaro has all the merit of creating right in Brazil,” said Zema, when asked about the differences between him and the former president.
Commenting on the amnesty proposal to convicted of participating in the scammer acts of January 8, Zema avoided deepening.
“I have not participated in any act. As a manager, I am much more focused on getting into the dough than getting into debate. But this mission will fit the Senate. We will definitely have an excess of persecution from the Supreme,” he said in CNN Prime Time.
The Minas Gerais governor also signaled that the right must act unified in the presidential elections.
“My opinion coincides with that of Jair Bolsonaro on the right has several names. This shows that the right has been efficient. This will make the right have a significant percentage in the first round and, working together, let’s take the PT,” he said.
