The Australian condemned for killing three relatives and trying to kill another by serving a dish with toxic arrows supposedly also tried poisonaccording to judicial documents published this Friday.
Erin Patterson, who still does not know his sentence, could serve between 2021 and 2022 macaroni with meat, a chicken curry and a vegetable sandwich allegedly with poison to his ex -husband Simon Patterson, who survived attempts, point out the evidence collected by the Prosecutor’s Office and that were left out of the trial against the Australian, reports the public channel ABC.
The 50 -year -old woman and who could face a maximum perpetual chain penalty, was found guilty by a jury on July 7 in a court in southern Australia where this media process was held for ten weeks.
Patterson murdered his exsuegros Gail and Don Patterson, and Gail’s sister, Heather Wilkinson, during a meal that she prepared at her home in the town of Leongatha, 135 kilometers southeast of Melbourne, and the one that only survived Gail’s brother -in -law, Ian Wilksson.
In the mortal banquet, which took place on July 29, 2023, the woman served Wellington Solomillos, composed of a piece of meat wrapped in puff pastry and covered by mushrooms, which according to toxicology reports were ‘Amanita Phalloids’, also known as Oronja Green, one of the most lethal fungi.
Simon Patterson was also invited to food, with whom the Australian has two children in common, but he finally did not go to the event by feeling uncomfortable after the separation of both.
This Friday the Supreme Court of Victoria raised a suppression order issued by this process that revealed some of the investigations collected by the Prosecutor’s Office.
Simon, who had sick other times, began to point in a newspaper his diseases that three times happened after Erin prepared food.
In November 2021, after eating some macaroni with meat, Simon ended up in the hospital with vomiting and diarrhea; In May 2022, after ingesting a chicken curry, he became ill; While in September 2022 it happened again after feeding with a vegetable sandwich prepared by Erin.
The Australian got so sick that he was temporarily paralyzed and had part of the intestine, the prosecution pointed out.
The source of alleged poisonings could not be confirmed, although prosecutors said that a medical expert said that on one occasion their symptoms were consistent with the ingestion of poison for rats, the arguments point out.
Erin had been accused of the three attempts to homicide against Simon, but days before the start of the trial for murder, the Prosecutor’s Office chose to withdraw these accusations and therefore were out of the evidence presented to the jury.
The defendant maintained her innocence about all accusations since she was arrested in November 2023.
The case will return to the courts on the 25th of this month, with the first of the two views scheduled for the guilt declarations where victims will be read
It is unknown, for the moment, when the judge will issue a conviction.
