Accused of involvement in corruption, the mayor of São Bernardo do Campo (SP), Marcelo de Lima Fernandes (Somos), was removed from office and forced to wear an electronic anklet. The decision occurred on the morning of Thursday (14) after the Federal Police triggered the operation “relay”, which aims a criminal organization allegedly infiltrated in municipal management to commit money laundering and other crimes.
