A new music-entertainment comes to the screens of Slovak Television and Radio Travel show in the footsteps of Slovak folklore called Home Sounds. Soon they will set out in it Actor Jakub Jablonský with singer Bystrík To wander in the footsteps of our folk songs, while discovering beauty and folklore of diverse corners of Slovakia. The first episode of the Home Sound Program will be seen by the unit viewers on Sunday, September 7 at 6.30 pm.
Each of the episodes of the show will be dedicated to one folk song, which the popular Slovak singer Bystrík set up in modern form. At the beginning of each part of Jakub and Bystrík, they will visit the corner of Slovakia, which is related to the origin of the folk song or its lyrics. During the episodes, they recognize interesting places in a given location with inspiring people who are engaged in folklore, but also crafts, the production of tools, local gastronomy or costume.
The tradition of traditions will be a well -known folklore ensemble or folk music in each episode. The journey of Jakub and Bystrík is complemented by attractions from the well -known ethnologist Katarína Nádaská. At the end of the show Bystrík, he will play a modern version of the folk song for local musicians.
In the first episode, Jakub Jablonský and Bystrík will go together to the village of Šumiac, from where perhaps the most famous folk song in Kráľová Hola. Together they discover the sounds, music and people of this region – Horehronský vicable singing, bell play, folk ensemble Šumiačan, as well as costumes and typical meals. Both artists are looking forward to the new TV tasks.
“Folk songs are my heart business because I grew up in a folklore ensemble. He danced and sang from about three years,” He revealed Jakub, who is convinced that the unit viewers have a lot to look forward to. “Especially many good people, because while the region, so beautiful pure souls that welcome us with open arms. The audience is also waiting for new knowledge about our traditions.”
“We discover not only new places, but also new meals or new origin of songs that we know notoriously,” added Jakub Jablonský. “Everyone who likes music, who likes folklore, will come into their own. The director of the new show is Samuel Spišák. “It will be the story of two friends who always find themselves in some place, experience something new and meet new people.
