Four people died after a single -engine plane crash in the Colombian part of the Amazon rainforest on Sunday afternoon, 24.
The aircraft carried out a medical transport and exit from the city of Tiquié to Mitú, near the border with Brazil. The information is from the Colombian government.
The aircraft, a Cessna 206, from the company SAE Ambulances, took off at 2:35 pm (Brasília time). In all, four people were on board: pilot Jorge Monroy, doctor Javier Gómez, patient Luz Milena Londoño and a companion. According to the initial reports, the aircraft was found near an indigenous community.
