Roger Federer enters Forbes Billionaires list – 25/08/2025 – Sport

Driven by the appreciation of the actions of the sports company, former Swiss tennis player Roger Federer joined the Billionaire Club, with a fortune of approximately $ 1.1 billion (R $ 6 billion), according to estimates of the expert publication Forbes.

With 103 titles – in 20 of Grand Slam – and retired from courts since September 2022, Federer has accumulated about $ 131 million ($ 710 million) in awards over 24 years in the international circuit.

Billing within the courts did not represent, however, its main form of remuneration.

Reigning as one of the main names of the sport in recent decades alongside Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, Federer has also raised around $ 1 billion with sponsorship, participation in events and investments while still active, according to Forbes projections.

The estimated value for the publication takes into account the lucrative long-term sponsorship agreements with brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Rolex and Lindt and does not consider payments and compensation fees due to entrepreneurs.

Faro calculated for business with high development potential contributed to Federer to continue multiplying its capital.

In 2019, he became a partner of the sports equipment company on – of the current sponsors of Brazilian João Fonseca.

With an estimated stake of about 3%, the Swiss helped in the development of the business, acting as a consultant to launch a new shoes focused on tennis practice.

The business today has a market valuation of approximately US $ 15 billion (R $ 81.2 billion). Federer’s slice is valued at about $ 375 million.

He became only the seventh name of the sport to reach a heritage over $ 1 billion.
