O Biden’s security advisor ruled out the possibility of handing over to Kiev the nuclear weapons that the country gave up at independence.
The United States of America (USA) will not return to Ukraine the nuclear weapons that were handed over with the country’s independence. The guarantee was left, this Sunday, by the Joe Biden administration.
A newspaper article without revealing sources, implied that Washington could be evaluating the possibility of returning to Ukraine the nuclear weapons that the country gave up at independence.
But this Sunday, the Joe Biden’s security advisor completely ruled out this possibility. Guarantees that the country wants rand strengthen Ukraine’s military capacity, but without involving nuclear weapons.
Russian and Ukrainian attacks cause fatalities
Last night was once again Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory. Kiev says it destroyed 32 of the 78 drones launched by Moscow. Ukraine’s already fragile electrical grid has been the target of attacks, at a time when the harsh winter begins to appear.
A residential building, in a village near Dnipro, was one of the targets of the attacks that began as soon as night fell. Four people died in the attack and 25 were injured. In all, during the night, at least nine people died.
A Ukraine also attacked Russian territoryreaching a residential area and killing an 11 year old boy.
