Parade of September 7 will have joint effort among public security agencies of the Federal District

To ensure public security in the region of the Esplanade of Ministries, the traditional civic-military paradewhich takes place this Sunday (7), will have a joint effort between the public security agencies of the the Institutional Security Office (GSI) of the Presidency of the Republic and the Ministry of Defense. The mobile command of the Military Police of the Federal District will be present at the scene. Specialized units of the corporation, such as cavalry, BPCães and Bope, and the Civil Police, such as the Special Operations Division (DOE) and the Air Operations Division (DOA), will be ready. The entire region will be monitored by cameras and drones.

A special security scheme has already been put into practice because of the trial of former President Jair Bolsonaro and other defendants for attempted coup. Items such as weapons, sharp objects, sprays, flammable substances, glass containers, cans, isopores, fireworks, large backpacks, masts, tents and drones without permission are prohibited. The parade also does not allow the presence of animals in general, except for guide dogs.

On the other hand, people are allowed to take snacks, cookies, fruits or other foods, as well as water, juice or other drinks (as long as it is not in glass bottles). The use of hospital masks, as well as caps and hats, as well as sunscreens, as long as they are not sprays or aerosols is also allowed. Access to the stands will be controlled and closed as soon as the maximum capacity is reached. At the parade site there will be places for hydration, as well as chemical toilets.
