A runaway jeep ran over at least four people accompanying the September 7 Civic Parade In Brusque, in Santa Catarina. The vehicle participated in the presentation and, according to the city, belongs to a group of old military car enthusiasts.

In a statement, the municipality reported that a 75 -year -old woman suffered a fracture in one of her ankles and suspected spine injury. Already a 37 -year -old woman holding a child on her lap, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The child was not injured.
A 14 -year -old was hit, but did not need to be taken to the hospital. She reported hand pain.
- Video shows that the jeep was following behind the military who were marching in the parade. At one point, he left for the sidewalk, reaching people accompanying the presentation. The woman with the baby on her lap falls to the floor with the impact.
According to Lieutenant Colonel of the Military Police Pedro Machado, the driver would have lost the brake of the vehicle. He remained at the scene. The case will be investigated by the Civil Police.
“The Military Police has drafted the police report, will take the testimony of the people of the victims, if the victims want to represent criminally, the driver can respond for guilty bodily injury in driving the vehicle,” he said.
