The Russian army launched massive attacks by drones on Ukraine, shot down 112 machines

112 drones were shot down or decomposed. 26 offensive aircraft hit their targets in seven places and fragments of the disposed of the drone were hit in one place.

Record attack of drones

The previous night, from Saturday to Sunday, Russia attacked Ukraine by a record number of unmanned aircraft – more than 800. Overall, the attack from the night on Sunday claimed at least four victims of life.

During the attack on Kiev, the government building in the center of the Ukrainian metropolis was also hit. This happened for the first time during the war, which Russia began against Ukraine on 24 February 2022.

In the affected part of the building, on its top floors, a fire broke out, which engulfed about 800 square meters and who managed to extinguish. There was no loss of life and injuries, as the Prime Minister Julija Svyrydenková confirmed, who, however, stated great material damage at the site of the fire.

The Russian Defense Ministry said that seven Ukrainian drones were shot down above the Russian territory on Monday night: three above the Tulian area, two above the Smolenska area and one above the Brian and Riazan region.
