Fux says his vote tired other STF ministers – 11/09/2025 – Brasilia today

The Minister of the Supreme Court said at the end of what his vote in the case tired the other members of the first class, board responsible for the deliberation.

Fux took the morning, afternoon and night of Wednesday (10) to utter his vote. It was about 12 hours exposing his arguments. The minister was that of the former president () and other defendants of what was called the central core of the coup plot.

Fux’s statement about the duration of his vote was while the first class discussed the size of the sentences of the convicts in the process. The minister explained why he argued to rid the reserve general and former defense minister Paulo Sérgio Nogueira when he mentioned his vote.

“His performance was very insistent on the electoral issue, even delivering the report off the deadline. But I understood that this could not be considered violent to the democratic state or coup d’état, so I dismissed. In addition to the vote I presented, that really tired the eminent pairs,” said Fux.

The minister was the only opposite of the conviction of Paulo Sérgio Nogueira. , and voted for the condemnation of all defendants. They are:

• Jair Bolsonaroformer President of the Republic and Reformed Captain of the Army;

• federal deputy and former director of ABIN;

• Almir Garnierformer commander of the Navy and Admiral of the Reserve;

• former Minister of Justice and former Secretary of Public Security of the Federal District;

• Augusto Helenoformer GSI minister and reserve general;

• ex-assistant of orders from Jair Bolsonaro, Army Lieutenant Colonel and Proceedings whistleblower;

• former defense minister and reserve general;

• former minister of the Civil House and Defense and General of Reserve.
