These supplies are worth enriched with marinated spicy mushrooms. They are made quickly, easily, and the taste is unbeatable. Check a simple recipe for it.

In fact, all types of fungi are suitable for marinating. Therefore, we can choose our favorite type. The most popular, however, are buttermilk, goats, porcini mushrooms, mushrooms and chanterelles.

Usually, mushroom pickers collect various mushrooms and mix them together during marinating. So we don’t have to limit ourselves to one type.

Let’s remember, however, that the marinating fungi should have the best condition. First of all, let’s carefully see their hats, or sometimes there are worms under them.

Chili is an unusual ingredient when pickling mushrooms. It is thanks to this ingredient that a sharp aftertaste has. Other additions are classic and used when putting these forest treasures into jars.

What ingredients do we need for marinated spicy mushrooms? Here is the list:

  • 300 g of mushrooms;
  • 1 onion;
  • 1 cup of water;
  • 1/3 cup of spirit vinegar;
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar;
  • 1 teaspoon of table salt;
  • 1 teaspoon of chili;
  • 1 teaspoon of allspice;
  • 1 teaspoon mustard;
  • 3 bay leaves.

At the beginning we clean the mushrooms of sand and soil, and then cut them into smaller pieces. In turn, cut the onion into feathers. Put everything into a pot, add salt, pour water and cook for 5 minutes.

In the next step we prepare the pickle: In a small pot we place the remaining ingredients, i.e. water, vinegar, sugar, chili, allspice, mustard and bay leaves. Cook the whole for 5 minutes.

In the meantime, put the mushrooms into scalded and cleaned jars. Finally, pour them with the pickle, tighten the dishes hard and pasteurize for about 20 minutes.
