Provo – The Utah public prosecutor officially charged the suspect in the murder of the right -wing extremist activist Charlie Kirk on Tuesday and intended to apply for the death penalty in the event of a conviction. 22-year-old Tyler Robinson is accused of having murdered Kirk on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, about 65 kilometers south of Salt Lake City. He is said to have fired a single shot from a roof that hit Kirk in the neck.
