Panel related to the US Football League game exceeded 30 days permitted by the exception of the Clean City Law
It applied on Tuesday (16.Set.2025) fine of R $ 260 thousand the administration of a building located on São João Avenue for displaying a graffiti with advertising from (National Football League).
The painting was held in 2024, during the 1st game of the Football League in São Paulo. The sanction was after overcoming the municipal authorization for 30 days, based on an exception of the cultural and sporting events.
According to the Municipal Secretariat of Subprefectures, the person responsible for the property has 5 days to remove the work. If the deadline is not met, a new fine may be applied.
The value was calculated according to the mural area, which is 987 square meters, 42 meters high, and was painted in 8 days with about 200 liters of paint by the graffiti artist.

Hotel Rojas, where is the building with the lane painted, told the g1 which worked only as a supplier of the space and that the responsibility for obtaining licenses and execution of the work is the company Producer of Art, who has already taken measures to regularize the situation.
The fine follows other recent cases of similar infractions. In August, a panel with the character Wandinha, from the Netflix series, was removed from a building near the Minhocão. The company responsible was fined R $ 190 thousand.

“The Subprefecture Sé informs that, after survey made on Tuesday (16) at Avenida São João, 1399, the owner was charged for installing advertising without authorization. The official has a period of five days to remove, under penalty of new fine. The amount of fines is calculated based on the area. For the irregularity found on Avenida São João, 1399, a fine of $ 260,000.00 was applied.
