While thousands of people took Salvador’s edge on Sunday (21) against the approval of DA, Federal Deputy Mario Negromonte Júnior (-BA) spoke in Pedro Alexandre, a city of 14,000 inhabitants of the Bahia Sertão.

“This band of the bandit does not represent me, does not represent the trajectory of my mandate. I was fooled,” said the Bahian parliamentarian, who is a party colleague, a countryman and ally near the rapporteur of the proposal, Deputy Claudio Cajado (PP-BA).
At least eight federal deputies retreated and said they were regretful of having voted in favor of PEC, a list that includes PT parliamentarians to names aligned with pockets. They claim error, mistake and even cowardice to justify the vote.
This Sunday, and against the amnesty proposal to the convicts on January 8, including the former president (). But the reflux movement has come since the previous days, with the negative repercussion of the proposal.
Parliamentarians who voted in favor of the proposal have been charged by their voters on social networks. Part of them has restricted the comments in the last posts to avoid public criticism.
Among the 12 deputies of the PT bench who voted in favor of the project, at least two were publicly claiming to have been error.
Federal Deputy Paulo Guedes (PT-MG), who was admitted to a hospital during the vote, justified his vote on a live on social networks. He said he voted favorably to the project after receiving a call from colleague Odair Cunha (PT-MG), who was in the plenary.
“My head was not aware of everything that was happening. If I was in the plenary, I would never have voted. I wanted to apologize to my voters,” said the deputy.
Deputy Merlong Solano (PT-PI) issued a public retraction note, apologized to the people of Piauí and said he had made a serious misconception.
Leader of the bench, Deputy Pedro Campos (PE) said he decided to negotiate with the center and voted in favor of the project to block the amnesty and advance to Congress of the government’s interest as a social tariff of energy and the exemption of for those who earn up to $ 5,000.
“I have the humility to recognize that we have not chosen the best way and went out defeated in the vote and PEC and the amnesty vote,” said Campos, who filed a writ of mandamus in the (Federal Supreme Court) contesting the vote.
The repercussion of the vote was so negative that even the mayor of, (PSB), recorded a video in which he states that he did not support the approval of the proposal in Congress. He is the brother of Pedro Campos and national president of the PSB, who gave nine votes in favor of PEC.
One of the closest allies of the Minister of Transport, Rafael Brito (-al) voted in favor of the proposal in the first round and was absent in the second. Days later, he evaluated the vote as a mistake. Gabriel Nunes (), PT ally in Bahia, also said he was wrong when supporting the proposal.
At least two conservative field parliamentarians said they were sorry for their votes.
Federal Deputy Silvye Alves, from Goiás, voted against the proposal in the first round, but continued in the opposite direction in the second round of the vote. Without quoting names, she said she was pressured by influential people in Congress and would suffer retaliation if she did not change her vote.
“I was a coward. I gave the pressure and changed my vote. I was not strong, I had no strength to do the right. I want to ask you forgiveness,” the deputy told her readers on a video on social networks.
Aligned with Bolsonarism and Potential Candidate for Governor of Sergipe, Federal Representative Thiago de Joaldo (PP) also backed away from his vote favorable to PEC: “Shame is to insist on error, courage is to take it head on and fight to fix it,” he said.
The PEC will still be voted by. The rapporteur, Senator Alessandro Vieira (MDB-SE), said that the proposal plays image of the legislature in the trash and will be overthrown. He will present an opinion contrary to the measure next Wednesday (24).
