Paloma Cristina Cavalcanti Bacalhau is pointed out as a stretch criminal, with several theft surrounding surveys involving the use of substances to doar the victims. The operation was conducted by agents of the 12th Police Station (Copacabana), under the coordination of the chief delegate Ângelo Lages.
According to investigations, in 2024 alone, Paloma was identified in at least six police inquiries for crimes of this nature. Most of the time, she acted alongside a fellow, Eduardo Fonseca de Freitas, who was arrested in the act in December last year by being surprised by a victim during the scam. Eduardo, however, was released in June this year and responds in freedom.
