The bench, which brings together 57 parliamentarians from various states and parties committed to the theme, will meet in Brasilia on Thursday (25) for a meeting that will discuss its strategic priorities.
The meeting is expected to be defined to accelerate the implementation of climate adaptation in the country, starting with schools. The agenda was defined as a priority in the current semester.
“Climate adaptation in schools is a fundamental step in protecting our children and preparing the country for the challenges that are already knocking on the door. It is the sum of these local and global efforts that can guarantee a fairer and more sustainable future,” he says
In addition to bringing together federal, state and councilors, the Climate bench also has the participation of civil society organizations.
