The Brazilian court decreed last Tuesday the arrest of Anderson Luís de Abreu Oliveira, former footballer of FC Porto, Manchester United and the ‘Canarinha’ team.
According to Globo’s portal, the non -payment of the food pension is not paid to five children – three girls and two boys. In total, Anderson will have a debt to the mother of his children over one million reais (about 165 thousand euros).
Can be detained for a month
If the former player does not pay the debt, the Golden Boy (best young footballer in the world) of 2008 will be detained for a period of 30 days.
In September last year, Anderson had already received detention order for the same reason. At the time, the former footballer got an agreement to pay the 300,000 he owed and did not have to serve a sentence.
