The UCO supports Cerdán’s leadership and reveals that he ordered payments from the PSOE to the plot

The former Secretary of Organization of the PSOE, Santos Cerdán, during his appearance in the Senate last December.

The Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard has issued a new report where it supports the alleged plot dedicated to seeking information capable of torpedoing the causes that affect the formation and the Government. The agents highlight that he gave “instructions” to the personnel under his charge in the party to “authorize any trip” requested by and that he was the one who decided that the socialists hire the legal services of Jacobo Teijelo (lawyer investigated in this case), whose “supervision and control” he was also in charge. Specifically, investigators have located two payments from the PSOE to the lawyer for 53,000 euros that do not appear in the documentation provided by the political organization. Furthermore, the uniformed officers highlight that the former militant was accountable to Cerdán.
