Minister of Health, who is a doctor of training, provided care after women get sick before flight take off

The Minister of Health, (PT), provided help to a passenger who passed out shortly before the takeoff from a flight from Brasilia to Rio on Saturday (27.Set.2025).

Training physician, he assisted the onboard team until the emergency medical care at Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek airport in the federal capital.

The picture was identified as hypoglycemia. During the service, the onboard team followed security protocols while the minister monitored the passenger, remaining next to her during the flight to the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

“Health minister, but always, above all, doctor. Within the plane I had to save a person. As a health professional, I was ready on time. We don’t choose the time to be with people, saving lives”said in social networks.

Commitment in Rio

Padilha traveled to Rio to comply with official commitments in hospitals in the capital and Baixada Fluminense.

The minister participated in the reopening of the Queimados Treatment Center, visited works, announced investments at Nova Iguaçu General Hospital (Posse Hospital) and was at the Baixada Fluminense State Oncology Institute.
