British Princess Catherine alias Kate says that the Christmas story is about the importance of giving and receiving empathy and shows how much we need each other despite our differences, writes the portal. The princess, who has faced health problems this year, remains kind to other people. “Love is a light that can shine brightly even in our darkest times,” he states in this year’s message.
The princess’ message will be unconventionally sent in a letter to the guestswho will take part in a carol concert at Westminster Abbey on December 6 and 15 regional concerts across the UK. Catherine talks about the meaning of Christmas.
“Above all, it encourages us to turn to love, not to fear,” emphasizes. The princess praises those who care for others in need. “Gentle words or a receptive ear, an arm around an exhausted shoulder or a quiet presence at someone’s side,” reads an excerpt from the letter.
The service with carols will also be the last stage of the princess’ return to public life after a year in which she was diagnosed with cancer and subsequently underwent chemotherapywhich ended in September. Kate says Christmas is a time to slow down and reflect on the deeper things that connect us all. Another example is love.
“The love we show ourselves and the love we show others – the love that listens with empathy, the love that is kind and understanding, the love that forgives, and the love that brings joy and hope.” Kate writes.
