They look after children and train young people. They work in mobile and inpatient nursing, take care of refugees, homeless people, addicts and people with impairments. Austria has a good 130,000 employees in the social economy in 130 professions. Hardly any industry accompanies people so closely from birth to death. How much it is actually worth the society – it will be violent in the coming weeks.
