Madrid – Linz finalist Anastasia Potapova is surprisingly in the third round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Madrid. The neo-Austrian, who actually failed in the second qualifying round to Sinja Kraus, benefited from a rejection by a seeded player and thus also received a bye in the first round.
