Dollar rises as investors await US jobs data

The dollar rose in Brazil this Wednesday (04), while investors await new data from the US labor market and monitor the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, who is participating in an event in Brasília this morning.

At 9:30 am, the spot dollar rose 0.39%, to R$6.0675 on sale.

The day before, the spot dollar closed slightly down 0.05%, at R$6.0624.

In this session, the Central Bank will auction up to 15,000 traditional currency swap contracts for the purpose of rolling over the maturity date of January 2, 2025.
